We will finish out this week with rideable surf, however, it will be far from great. Central Florida will stay in the 1-3 foot range through the end of the week with North Florida being slightly smaller. Wednesday will continue to have offshore winds with minimal surf. Thursday North winds 10-15mph 1-3ft, Friday East winds 5-15mph 1-3ft, and Saturday South East winds 10-15mph 1-3ft. Sunday strong offshore winds and likely will be flat. The models show a small clean up as of today but I do not see that materializing with the stiff offshore winds. Any swell that’s left will quickly be blown flat.
The Gulf will see its first surf of this winter Wednesday with 3ft+ North wind swell and 20 knot North winds. Thursday may have a small cleanup. Sunday another strong front looks to come through, something to keep an eye on over there.
