Grills Restaurant at Port Canaveral
A great place to eat!
This is a selection of some of the best photos I shot at sunset from the deck of Grills Seafood and Tiki Bar Restaurant on April 30, 2009. If these shots make you want to go there, you should. It's a great place to eat! Sit outside and watch the boats go by, that's half the fun. These images are sized for a large wide-screen monitor. I also posted the entire collection on PicasaWeb, which auto-resizes the slide show display based upon the resolution of your monitor. Click here to jump to the PicasaWeb slide show. |
Who da girl? I'll give you a hint.... her dad probably surfs a lot better than you do !!!
I got to consume the "model" after the photo shoot for this shot.
It's looks like a VERY quiet evening of fishing for these folks.
TOOT.... TOOT... here comes the Black Jack Barge.
The grey "Harbor Pilot" guided the ship all the way out of the Port.
Look closely at the bow.... that's the Harbor Pilot jumping all the way out of the water.
Red sky at night... sailors delight!
Lots of little fish you can see. Probably some big fish that you can't.
YUP!!! The chowder is REALLY GOOD. Order a bowl instead of a cup.
The lighting is EVERYTHING in scenery photography.
Grills was packed to the gills for a Thursday night. That big cruise ship was a visitor not a resident, and a lot of the folks were from the ship.
Grills.....good food.... good prices...... good atmosphere...... good service....... good place to eat!!!
(....and the owner surfs with Ross and Danny)
