A Surprise for You

In the garden, way out back,
go down four rows past the corn stack.
Go right, then left, around the beans,
watch out for melons, squash, and greens.

Stop by the row next to the peas,
and carefully kneel upon your knees.
Look down, around, and in between,
a surprise for you hides wrapped in green.

Fold back the leaves, be careful please,
move slowly now, and please don't sneeze,
and you will find, this very hour,
a beautiful, big, white cauliflower.
